So this is where I talk about myself in the third person.
Steve Averill is the founder of Averill Media, LLC. Steve has over 10 years of online marketing experience beginning in 1999, when he joined Boston-based startup College Media Network, which grew into the largest online network of student newspapers in the country and was eventually sold to Viacom. College Media Network introduced major technology advances and national advertisers such as Ford, Samsung, Monster and Apple to online college media. Steve has provided online marketing advice to hundreds of small business in Los Angeles and Orange County as a small business marketing and digital media consultant. He posts his thoughts on the award-winning OCBizBlog and co-founded OCJobTalk, a social network for Orange County job seekers. He is also the Licensee and Co-Organizer for TEDxIrvine.
Steve specializes in online marketing for small businesses with an emphasis on Facebook social marketing and community management. He speaks and writes about social media for The California Jewelers Association (600 members) and is the Social Media Advisor for The Bike Cooperative, a national cooperative of 300 independent bike store owners.
